Summit Wise is a company that provides top-quality insulation. We are thrilled to announce the launch of our new XPS insulation board, which is manufactured in our factory with zero ozone depletion potential (ODP). This board is designed to provide excellent insulation and is environmentally friendly.
XPS, which stands for extruded polystyrene foam board, is a rigid material made of polystyrene with high compressive strength. It provides excellent long-term thermal insulation performance due to its closed-cell structure, which inherently resists moisture transfer. XPS also serves as a ceiling and insulation two-in-one solution.
Nail-up ceiling and between trusses insulation, over-truss/over-rafter insulation, over-purlin insulation, cavity/perimeter wall insulation, and underfloor (surface bed) insulation.
Thermal insulation involves reducing the heat transfer between objects that are in contact with each other. A material’s insulating ability is determined by its thermal conductivity (k), which is the measure of the material’s ability to conduct heat. A material with low thermal conductivity is highly insulating.
